@Tibuguaro God, you're ignorant. I watched the perfect game and the 28 out game. I know the pain because I'm a Tigers fan, my whole family is. All the worlds Tiger Fans are not likely to forget this in their lifetimes. Galarraga HAS immortality because of that. Besides, none of these perfect games will be all that well remembered in 100 years, so all that really matters is whether Galarraga is happy about it and he said he knows he pitched a perfect game. and there may be another someday.

@thenobleboys: Ok, the other guy is Roy Halladay. And yes Armando Galarraga got got a corvette and the president of the United States gave him a call, but thats nothing compared to IMMORTALITY, do you even know the magnitude of that word?

Now i'm not going as far as to say the guy did it intentionally (obviouslly he didn't), but that one mistake cost that kid A PERFECT GAME, I'm guessing you're not much of a baseball fan

Guys... I love baseball. I really do. And this was unfortunate for Galarraga. It was. But we're facing world disaster right now, our oceans are dying, illegal wars are being fought over oil in the name of peace, we've had the technology of electric cars for over a hundred years but it's been hidden, we probably have solar technology CURRENTLY available but it won't be public anytime soon, and in 15 years fish may only appear in history books. It's time to wake up.

Its real funny, though, because he got a corvette, and the other guy who pitched a perfect game that week got a fishing trip and a day off. The president called Galarraga and congratulated him...somehow, I think something is a little off there.

i'd blame Bud Selig, that Mofo had the power to reverse it. instead he lets the country hate Jim Joyce. he should've reversed it and this shit would be all over.

@fredthejunkman It is also incomprehensible why MLB does not because of the special circumstances award him the perfect game. MLB has its head in the sand for too many years. The result is a man throwing a pefect game...only the 21st in Hisotry DENIED> For shame on the League President and his cronies.
