  • yea, i'm really looking to row lightweight (i'm 145 Lbs, and 5'7") so i'm not really heavy weight material, but that wouldn't change my decision to g to the academy. i saw yalls boat house this summer and it was amazing! all of the amazing boats there and the indoor rowing system (i'm from a small squad with 4 racing shells from the late 80's to early 90's) so i had never seen this nice of boats up close. what are the work out hours like and how long is the season?

  • Unfortunately there's no lightweight program, but the crew team is a pretty good program. I rowed in high school and I'm a frosh now. If you have any questions you can message me, I'll try to answer as best as I can.

  • I'm a 4/c (frosh) rower. I was hoping for a lightweight program but because none of the other schools are racing lightweights we don't either.

It's a really good program. I rowed in high school and this far outshines it. If you have any questions send me a message, I'll try to help as much as I can.

  • hey, i'm looking at uscga as like one of my top schools (i've been there all that stuff) and how is the crew program there? how is the mens light weight program and do yall train in the fall?
