Chickens are not raised for backyards and should not be used for this if u want chickens buy a farm or land for it and they are not. For show people who us live stock for show pet are just ignorant to the animals and people who raise them these chickens are raid for food and eggs not show pets.

Oh... How cute! Sadly or dogs killed some of our buff orpingtons when my brother was the only one home and we only have 1 left. :( at least we still have other types!

@lunchEATSyou Personalities can vary from chicken to chicken, and can depend a lot on how much they are handled and how they are raised. The White Leghorns generally tend to be more active, which can put someone off from having them as a pet. However, they are a smaller bird and one of the best egg-layers you can get, so they are still a great breed to consider adding to your backyard flock.

@SpreadalilSunshine70 Generally, chicks that are raised together do well together. Anytime you add smaller chickens (younger or just smaller in size) to an existing flock of larger chickens, you need to do so with caution. Your existing flock has already established a pecking order, so when new birds are added there can be some bullying. Smaller birds are unable to defend themselves. Even with a friendly breed like the Buff Orpington, I would recommend keeping the two groups separated.
