The Spirit of Pocahontas 1995

In 1995 Disneyland opened a new Stage show at the Fantasyland Theater dubbed "The Spirit of Pocahontas" celebrating the film from Walt Disney Pictures, its Characters and Surroundings all came to magical life in this magical stage show.

I miss this show. I miss Paul Cady (John Smith) and Josh Estrada (Werwance/Powhatan) this show has created lasting friendships and fond memories for me. I will always be grateful for it.

No she wasn't. in The Spirit of Pocahontas, she was in Animazement as Pocahontas. This was Christine Marquez and Tomasina Abate closed the show.

What happened to this kind of entertainment at Disneyland? These are the kinds of shows I miss. The stage shows that Disney tries to do these days are so wannabe-Broadway.

The Spirit of Pocahontas was one of the last truly magical stage shows at Disneyland.
