  • how much does it cost?

  • @ConnorGorman Okay, I see what you're saying. I'll have to try it. I'll let you know how it goes.

  • @Jharp82 Yeah, i have an 05 Altima 3.5SE. I know you it changes on its own but if you would the stick back in the negative section without releasing it you can go above redline. Like it wont shift. (alteast in the 05 and 06 it does) Same goes for the +. If you are in say, 3rd gear, if you hold the stick up in the + section and keep it there then bring your car to a stop it will stay in 3rd gear. Then you can technically launch it out of 3rd if you keep the stick held +.

  • @ ConnorGorman I don't know what kind of altima you have but i have an 07 3.5SE. if you put it in sport mode and nail the gas you don't have to tap shift it will change on its own. i think the sport mode is for fun driving because in order to shift it yourself you have to short shift which doesn't get the max speed out of each gear

  • I have been messing around with holding the stick back too through gears a little but i have always been so scared i running it too hard. What happens when you get all the way up there at 6750 with the stick held back?? Does it just hold right there or auto shift at 6750 instead of 6600 like it normally would in say 1st or 2nd gear?

  • Yeah considering with auto altimas you just put them in sport mode, hold up on the shifter and it will hold until it fuel cuts at 6750. My speedo was showing 108-109mph on the freeway the other day when I was testing to see if I can go all the way through the 1/4 in third which I can for sure.

  • what!!! that was like 5500rpm
