NewSpring pastor, Perry Noble, tells parents that their kids love Jesus more than them, and if they try to teach their children about propriety in worship, they risk God's judgment.

  • There was nothing wrong with what he said. He is right. I would love to have had my teenagers in church loving Jesus and praising Him! They weren't drug users or drunks, no teenage pregnancies either. That doesn't make them good people though. Forgiven sinners loving Jesus is what I want all teenagers to be!!!

  • The man that knows how sinful he is, and how much he is forgiven, loves Jesus more. It has nothing to do with music or jumping up and down. True love is about forgiveness and not a feeling.

  • Great Word, Perry. Stupid title, courselist

  • @takitheterrible I said it shouldn't ONLY exist to feed believers.

    Luke 19:10.....Matthew 28:16-20.....Acts 1:8.....

  • @ryanc100 " church shouldn't only exist to feed believers...but to do what Christ did...seek and save that which is lost."

How many letters did Paul write to the lost?

  • The video is amazing. The title for this video sucks. It has bad connotations. It seems like its saying that Perry Noble rejects the ideo of parents training up their kids in Christ. I know the description for this video is good but people don't see that on the side menu

  • and btw....im not a parent...but if I were...I'd be the proudest parent in the world if my child love their heavenly father, more than me...because in reality...that child would be a gift from God. I may be their earthly father...but they have a father in heaven who loves them more than I ever could.

  • @soxster101 Perry Nobles church is bursting at the seems....you may say that numbers don't matter, but when he has a solid amount of people coming to know Christ in a weekly service...then those numbers do matter....I'd rather attend a church where 75-80% of weekend attendance consist of the unchurched...homosexuals....thieves....etc than 100% christian. The church shouldn't only exist to feed believers...but to do what Christ did...seek and save that which is lost.

  • @soxster101 I'm just curious.....how many Pharisees in the bible thought that what Jesus was doing was an "eidemic in the church"? Truth is...for as long as I have been alive (22 years), the church has done a horrible job reaching the lost. Which...last time I checked was what we were called to do. The church today as a whole is doing a horrible job reaching the lost....I heard a quote once..."If you want to reach people that nobody is reaching, you gotta do things that nobody is doing."

  • I know I was more on fire for the Lord when I was a Youth. I'm 32 I do believe young people love God more.
