I remember these were always quite expensive, even when analog was out of fashion. The cheapest I ever saw one was around £1000..this was when you could buy an jupiter 8 or minimoog for peanuts

It is a great machine, I would love to own one, but too expensive... in Germany, a new AKS costs 6800 Euros... unbelievable for a monophonic synth. Just for some FX sounds it's too much.
If you imagine what you can buy for this amount.. a large Doefper modular with lots of osc's and filters will cost less than a half - and you can also produce great "playable" sounds.

There's one on eBay at the moment going for £4311 and that will double no doubt. They are Brit synth archeology at it's finest. Klaus schulze says you never get the same sound twice . The best synth ever!

they cost a fortune. I think a synthi a will run you like 6-7 grand easily. I think you can buy them off of their website.
