Candidate for the Libertarian Party's Presidential nomination Christine Smith, interviewed at the Heartland Libertarian conference in Kansas City, April 4th 2008
After the Ron Paul campaign, I find myself disappointed in Libertarian Party candidate's ability to sell the liberty message. Statements like "government is the problem" may get people already sold, but do little to sell the message to others.
That said, of all the candidates, Christine Smith seems like she spends more time talking to people about liberty.
althought it is hard to imagine her as president, she would have been much much better for the libertarian party than Patriot Act Bob.

As a life member of the Libertarian Party, I would be happy to have Christine Smith as our nominee.

Nice interview.
Some advice: you should include "party" as in "Libertarian Party" under your tags.
