  • @vetteracer65 how the f*** do you spell "beige"? 16440 Gloss Gull Gray... No where near "beige"..  Same gray as when they were white over gray in the mid 60's to mid 80's when they started going to the tactical gray,("haze gray")

  • I see one of those almost once a week doing touch n' goes at BTV. Kinda cool to watch them running around.

  • We're (Canadian) a darker color of grey.

  • Loiter 2 engines and see what you get :)

  • 4,600 SHP (X 4), right there! Plenty of power. The plane is litterally pulled through the air with the amount of power/torque that the engines, & props put out. The only Orions that still have the original black nose radome & beige over white paint scheme are a handful of EP-3's.

  • As long as the pilots land the damn thing! Besides, flap knowledge is for the FEs!

  • Actually takeoff/approach is 18 degrees, land flaps is 40 degrees :-)

  • Landing/approach is 18 degrees.
