"Mexico born and raised artista Jonathan Bueno opens an exhibit, Macholandia, this month at Azul Gallery . Macholandia explores gender identity within Mexican culture through highly textured paintings and drawings.
The exhibit opens on Thursday July 2nd from 6-10 pm in conjunction with the San Pedro Artwalk and will feature an upbeat acoustic set by River Jetty.
The artist reception will take place Saturday July 18th from 5-11 pm. DJ Púr One and DJ Chee-bo will alternate sets of downbeat lounge and latin sounds. Also, Assembly of Mazes will perform their moody and intense music."
