Al Riqqa is one of the most mesmerizing localities in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. It is located in the heart of eastern part of the city. It is a residential community and commercial centre rolled into one. It is bordered by Rigga Al Buteen, Port Saeed, Al Muraqqabat and Naif and bounded to the south by the immortal scenic view of the Dubai Creek.
Al Riqqa is bounded in the west by Omar bin Al Khattab Road and to the east by Abu Baker Al Siddique Road. The locality is parallel to Al Muraqqabat and Al Maktoum Road. Actually The Union Square is part of Al Rigga where buses going to Sharjah, Abu Dhabi, Ajman is positioned. And taxis plying towards Umm Al Quwain, Fujairah and Ras Al Khaimah.
The Dubai Clock Tower, which lies at the intersection of Umm Hurair Road and route D 89 is situated in Al Rigga. Additionally, several local hotel chains such as Metropolitan Palace, Zain International Hotel, Sun & Sands Hotel, Taj Palace, Avenue Hotel, Ramee GuestlineHotel, I.B.I.S., and so much more newly built hotels could also be found in Al Rigga.
