  • I looked at this on mine I cannt get it to do that. perhapes its cause I am in canada..

  • @stettler11

if you are getting the US spec bikes with the deferent tail light,no λ sensor etc then yes you must use the cable grounding as i described below in order to get into the CO mode... :)

  • what does the co adjustment really do. Whats the best adjustment like in the positive or minus...

  • @stettler11

Νο οne really knows what it exactly does.....

On the R1's it supposed to change the fuel mixture (lean or reach) but i think on the WR's its only an adjustment to pass the EURO or US Co emitions...dont really know if it changes the mixture in the whole band of RPM or only the bottom idling RPM... :/

  • they are exacrky the same EYRO and US models besides that EURO spec bikes have a lamda sensor on the mid pipe and the exhaust cap is soldered and not with screws....

in my furst post here i explain how you must do it on a US bike....i know it needs time but its the only way i m afraid for u my friend :(

  • on the euro models like mine no cable grounding is needed.....

It's under the seat on top of the airbox. Small black box that says "UP" on top of it. Unplug it with the engine off. You will see one of the wires in the plug is black. Notice it does not match up with any connection in the lean angle sensor itself. It is just "stored" in that plug. you need to remove that black wire from the lean angle sensor plug and connect it to a ground source. Then plug the lean angle sensor back in.

It's like the air screw on a carb.

  • Hard to see !!!

  • Thank you for sharing this. I had no idea you could adjust that. I will confirm when I get home that the US (california models) also have the same adjustment.

  • THANK YOU!!!!!!!!! That absolutely helps!!!!!!

  • or are they completely different machines...???
