"Slash and Burn"

A parody of "Crash and Burn" by Savage Garden focused around the common agricultural practice of slash and burn farming.

When you feel all alone
And your fields have turned their backs on you
Give us a moment please, to help your dead dead crops
I know you feel like your farm is peacing out on you
It's hard to feel at ease when you can't even grow peas
When dead sprouts are upon the floor
and you feel like you can't plant anymore

Chorus:
When your maize begins to fall
Let us be the ones you call
Light them up, watch embers fly away into the sky
If you need somewhere to start
We'll bring our propane in a cart
If you need to slash, then slash and burn your crops will grow

And a hardy seed is hard to find
We'll cut them with our sickles
Soon cucumbers will be pickles
Dead sprouts lie upon the floor
And you feel like you can't plant anymore
