Yeah that '04 Laker team wasn't just disappointing because they lost in the Finals, they were so damn dysfunctional that it's a miracle that they even got to the Finals.

Let's say hypothetically that the whole series between the Lakers and Kings in 2002 was fixed except for the overtime in game 7. The Kings were 5 minutes away from getting to the Finals, they were at home, had the slight momentum and they still lost! That's their fault, stop hating on the Lakers.

Id like to forget 2003 and 2004 but other than that, the Shaq-Kobe-Phil era will always be one of the greatest in Lakers history
