  • Wow, that was terrific. Very thoughtful. I too went from believer to agnostic, so a lot of points he made resonated with me, especially about freedom. That's been on my mind a lot lately. Not only have I found a freedom in exploring ideas, thoughts and feelings, I've felt freed up to accept people of different faiths. I see others as my equals, not as mistaken people who won't get into heaven.

  • Sounds like he needs a New Religion.

  • I agree with him completely. We are thinking beings we can't help ourselves.

  • Oh, Simon.

It's never too late to live your dream to get up to mischief in the back of the art room!

I'm already waiting for you there... heeheehee,

Is a Shame that Simon Le Bon thinks this way, I hope he can be save, Great Talent indeed.

  • I have loved Simon ever since I was a young 12 yr old girl, I am now 40 & am still a fan. I met him once in my early 20's & he was as nice as I had imagined. As a christian myself I have a sadness that comes over me when I hear this interview. I pray that Simon finds his faith again. Kind of hard to believe with everything thing he has been thru, facing death in the yacht accident & being blessed w/a successful career & loving family that he could have lost his faith. My prayer's are w/you!

  • For the control freak, it is hard to let someone else have control things. It is hard to let go and have someone else take care of you. Being a control freak, I have always wanted to have all the answers. I feel Simon is the same way. We want God saying it's ok but we really don't want him making the decisions. A control freak wants control of all aspects of life. Crazy, but true!

  • The freedom to think, to feel and be are central to a meaningful existence for me. That freedom must be balanced with responsibility. Much of humanity needs a cosmic parent to take responsibility for their actions. I have come to a believe in a higher source which has no inherent gender or agenda other than to realise its creations- us. While I still enjoy church music and celebration Christmas in the back of my mind is an awareness that these and many others were about keeping the social order.
