Salsa Mish & Aiste demonstrating basic salsa steps and basic salsa turns to a beautiful slow Salsa song from Palenke.

By far the best way to learn these moves is to come along to Salsa Mish's classes at:
- Lloyds bar (Waterend Barn), St Albans - every Monday night
- Apsley community centre, Hemel Hempstead - every Tuesday night
- Greenwood Park, St Albans - every Friday night

You will have a great time, meet lots of friendly people, hear some fantastic music and lose any inhibitions you may have in no time.

See www.salsamish.co.uk for details.

For those who prefer to learn from home, or wish to supplement what they have learnt during lessons, see www.salsaroutines.com * for clips breaking down the component parts of these steps to the finest detail for this and many other Salsa steps, many examples of which will be published on You Tube.
*To be launched early 2011

  • @SalsaMish Hey =) can you find me a song that is really proper for saLSA dance cuz I have a concert in june . so??

  • @cruz47144 see my vids & learn herbs as reishi, kelp, kale, coriander, cayenne, pine etc

  • Couldn't your male partner wear decent clothes

  • this is salsa on1, or LA style.

Cuban salsa is also danced on 1 but it doesn't have the "linear" structure - (which is a later influence that came from ballroom) instead cuban salsa is danced with a circular structure.

NY salsa, is danced on 2, Puerto rican salsa is also danced on2, but on the clave. both of this styles use the "linear" geometry.

good video guys, but please don't confuse the viewers :)

  • hi anyone know the name and singer of this song?

The video is cool thank you its great for beginners!

  • It's not really NY as it's danced "on 1" ;)
