Freshman year at Carnegie Mellon. What memories! The first time I heard this was at a talent show on campus. The young lady did a wonderful job but I was intrigued and had to hear the original. And Bro. Angelo D did his thing on the Guitar! I was blown away now this song is part of the background music of my life. Once again, big props to WDAS Philly for keeping this kind of music alive. I don't live in Philly anymore and it's hard to get this other places. @aeisiel -

I sang this to my kids to get them to sleep when they were babie. They loved it. It's so beautiful. When they were a little older I started singing it and never thought they would remember but they sang it along with me when they were youngsters. Amazing the imprint good music leaves on us.
