It looks like it's from the late 1960s or early 1970s. Let's get blitzed!

  • Looks like decadent swingers of the 60's. Gettin' loaded up on cheap beer, then gettin' down in a lake cottage threesome. It's just sick.

  • Either sick or typical. I want a lake cottage...

  • @GreenGator94 Oops. Can't forget Bud!

  • Oh my gosh. My mother (she's 88) has an old tank top with EXACTLY the same pattern and colors as that lady's bikini top! Lol. I have a cup full of Blitz bottle caps that I snagged from my dad's Coke machine cap catcher 20-some years ago. He mostly drank Blitz, but also Rainier and Oly. Sometimes Hamm's. I think those are all that was available here back in the late 60's/70's... ? At least that's all I ever saw! Then when I was in high school, Schlitz Malt Liquor - The Bull - was the best!

  • Heil Hitler LOL

  • @BipedOfMystery the "where you boys goin' with all that beer?" commercial is the Schludwiller one - i just saw it on the "suggestions" side of this page ====>

    one of my favorites!

  • @bigdaddy40 Sweet sweet beer, and powersports! What a country!

  • I haven't seen this in a LONG time. Pretty much my whole family worked for Blitz Weinhard right up until it closed in Portland. I wish I could find the "So, where you going with all that beer?" commercials.

  • Odd name of a beer product - sounds ALMOST like Schlitz/Rheingold - but not!

  • Henry Weinhard bottles still look like that.

  • Nothing like coming in for a cold Blitz after a day of water skiing!....

  • Nah, sorry. I wrote that about a year ago, and actually, when I re-look closer at the video (especially near the end when you see them up close), I think this is actually probaly closer to 1967-ish rather than the tailend of the 60s.
