Wait, WHAT!!! OMG. You totally spoiled it. I thought Squall died? I never got to finish the game and saw The titanic MV and figure Squall died and never got back to playing the game. For 10 years i thought i knew. Now you say he came back alive... No!!! Lol... Anyways dont spoil anymore of it for me. I still wait for the day i finally get a chance to finish the game and see how it really turned out.

@pancakes977 Rinoa is not Ultimicia. Square even said that. Rinoa brought Squall back. HE DID NOT DIE. It was supposed to be a love story conquering chaos, but the game wasn't perfect (gameplay, imagery that could be taken multiple ways) and everyone needs to pick the games apart and make conspiracies because they're too fucking obsessed.

In the real time line of the game Squall was killed by Edea so Rinoa turned into Ultimecia , so she can travel to time to visit Squall , so she did take Rinoa to be a flare for them to come to her and kill her (it would be predictable if she gave up without a fight) but in the end she doesn't regret her death because she knew it would change everything including Squall's death.
