This is the beginning of the 3rd week of flower... Looking very healthy.. Just flushed out plants.... Plants are growing very fast... Lots of hairs now buds are forming and tricomes are starting to show on the leaves... Jack the Ripper is bearly started to show its signs of flowering with its white hairs... Its a slow growing sativa plant... All other plants are looking right with their flowering stages...

wrong ....blue for veg,,,red spectrum for flower..this is basics 101..a mix of both is best

all lights will pretty much grow any plants....this guy is doing well..also id like to add HPS or HID will mostly get you busted...LED and CFL are the way to go

You could do that but some ppl have security problems and need to grow as secretly as possible and they might have a tight budget and need to pay for something cheaper. i have that same problem, i want to use hps but i cant afford them so i am using cfl's untill i get enough money saved up to do a whole room make over to turn it into a grow room.

wow, you grew that much with only a couple of cfl's... i'm impressed. But I'd be concerned with bud quality. I'm not willing to sacrifice bud quality just to save a few bucks. Well, it's about an extra $40 a month for me to run a 400watt mh/hps, two 265cfm squirrel cage fans, and an oscillating fan. I tried cfl's once. ONCE. They just didn't grow as tall or as fast as using HID's. And c'mon, it's only an extra $40 a month, I paid $50 for an eighth before I started growing my own.

cfl is good for small clones but anything over 6inches will come out shitty with only cfl lights might as well put it outside

u need more light to the middle of the plants i had a setup just like that but i decided not to flower w the cfl because the buds looked like shit lol

Yup.. Through the whole cycle.. I just added more when I flowered... Its my first time grow... Its a experience... Next grow will be with MP And HPS bulbs...
