WEST VIRGINIA BOARD OF EDUCATION V. BARNETTE, 1947 (still *entirely* in precedential legal effect, 2): "The very purpose of a Bill of Rights was to withdraw certain subjects from the vicissitudes of political controversy, to place them beyond the reach of majorities and officials and establish them as legal principles to be applied by the courts. One's right to life, liberty and property...and other fundamental rights may NOT be submitted to vote; they depend on the outcome of NO elections."

Since U DID choose 2 @ least MENTION the Michigan State Legislature here, Kevin, & in case U were not yet aware, the California Supreme Court ruled UNANIMOUSLY that Protect Marriage "dot" com et al MAY appeal the Walker ruling in the UNITED STATES COURT OF APPEAL FOR THE NINTH CIRCUIT, after all. (Good luck with *that* anyway, though! Every time they oppose the actual ruling, they get SHOT RIGHT BACK DOWN so far...) But NOT everything should even *B* decided by vote...absolute mob rule if SO!

I was disappointed the California Supreme Court favored the Prop 8 supporters' legal ability to appeal Judge Vaughn Walker's decision; nullifying the California constitutional amendment's ban on marriage equality. How is the West Virginia Board of Education v. Barnette is relevant to my video though? I'm curious.

OKAY! Well, this simply reminds me of the SNL episode that featured Jeff Goldblum as host when SOME, but not ALL, of the CURRENT Jurassic Park series were released. "Any questions from the audience?" "Yes, Mr. Goldblum! Were any dinosaurs actually harmed or killed in the making of any of those movies?" "UMMM...ALL dinosaurs R extinct & have been 4 millions of years, ma'am." "R U SURE about that?" "Yes, ask any paleontologist U want; I'm sure." Tells U something about Nielsen ratings eh?

I understand your comment's relevance. Ratings and viewership are not important to the reliability and substance of plus sharing of information and facts from a news program or channel. However, the American viewing public are gullible into believing such.
