I got to know Bobby when he was teaching on Long Island. He's an excellent drummer ( one of Rock's all time best) and he's a really nice guy. Check his master's place on Drummer world. There's a pre- wrapped hero sandwich on his drum kit. If you know Bobby you would know why that's so funny.

It was an honor meeting him at the 2010 NAMM show and he made me feel like as though we had known each other forever!! What converted me from being a Bobby Rondinelli - The Drummer fan to a Rondinelli - the MAN fan was after NAMM when I wrote and asked him a question on his MySpace page - not really expecting to get a reply or one from him personally - and the next day he responded and made a comment about meeting at NAMM that only he could have known... TOTALLY BLEW ME AWAY!! Fan for life!!
