what the fuck, they weren't the first "Screamo" band. screamo indicates emo and they guys were far from that. they were punk and fast and they didn't give a fuck...not screamo whiny pussies. if anything, they were the first synthpunk band. not only that, screamo didn't start till the early 90's in san diego.

American born band. This is one of the first ever aggressive electronic/synth bands. Synth-punk /electro essentially. Even before human league.
