A Scottdale/Mt.Pleasant Ballad that was played at all the romance venues in the area, and a favorite song by one of my oldie but goodie friends, Christine. Just a great tune by a super artist, Jessie Belvin!

I have this one on my personal play-list, I have listened to this song a thousand times, and who’s counting? I still love this tune. One of the most under-rated performers. Think of this, he was just getting his stuff together then the car crash ended it all. He left behind beautiful music over fifty years later so many enjoy his music, not bad Jessie well done. Of course his signature song “Good Night My Love”

Simply one awesome side from an awesome singer/writer. This came out on the Cash label in 1957, and definitely deserved to be a hit. Barry White (who drove for and sometimes played piano for him)recorded this tune many years later.
