Bill Haley and the Comets re-recorded their signature song "Rock Around the Clock" exclusively for the opening of "Happy Days",sadly they soon replaced it with their own original song which, while good, just didn,t capture the nostalgic feeling of the 50,s that this intro did, this was a back to back hour of the show, so I caught the tail end of the previous episode, the classic intro is there, I promise!

In their early years, this show was excellent. It went downhill, but it had a good run before that. Yes, I am aware of the "jump the shark": it jumped well before that.

Bill Haley and the Comets didn,t write this song for the show originally, they just re-recorded a new version for the shows opening theme song, the song had come out much earlier.
