@ajpreziosi what are you talking about?? Of course there were flutes in King Crimson. Just not on this album anymore.

Nice.

Excelente, lo mejor de King Crimson

Incredible and moving...just like the entire King Crimson universe
-
this song is perfect to meditate with in a traditional japanese garden

He's right Fripp is playing mellotron. Ian McDonald did play horns on a few of their albums, flute on I Talk to the Wind from In the Court of the Crimson King. But, yes, no flutes on this album.
-
No, it is a mellotron. Mellotron had a flute tape also. No flutes in King Crimson.
-
@ajpreziosi Well, I think what we hear is flute since mellotrons are usually made of tapes of recorded instruments. It was kind of a sampler.

TY! Great Post!

This is a great song, which kind of reminds me of a band I've heard a few days ago, Aperco. Hear the similarity at their channel apercoband
This is a great meditation. I'm really not worthy enough of a musician to rate this song. It certainly is my favorite of all the King Crimson songs and certainly is hidden nicely as a real gem. The fact the drummer chose to remain off the song shows his respect for it.

If music is expression, Fripp n' friends must have felt the love at this performance.
