You’ve read it right. The current darling of the Bachchan household has dared to bare. Aishwarya Rai Bachchan is the latest to go for an image makeover. The stunning actress has posed for a renowned international fashion magazine in minimal clothing, and it’s been tastefully done. Ash recently did a photo-shoot for the Indian edition of Vogue in six different outfits, one more gorgeous than the other. She features in a low-cut dress on the cover and looks delightful. The other images present her in backless or strapless Armani avatars. The former Miss World is seen in an irresistible pastel cream outfit by the window, and a dewy pink one on a couch. This aesthetical transformation is unexpected. For a long time after Aishwarya announced her engagement to Abhishek, she’d only been seen in ‘dutiful daughter-in-law’ mode — shy, demure and mostly clad in Indian wear, hands joined in a Namaste. The actress is currently in South Africa shooting for Rajnikanth’s Robot. And by the looks of it, she has been taking her gym lessons quite seriously.
