Your right his toms didn't sound the greatest here, but Iv'e heard many liver performances where his entire kit sounds exceptional. Perhaps his toms were not run through the mixing board/ P.A. properly.

the toms on jimmys kit sound completely dead and pearl talks of never having dead sounding shells, then what the hell is this?

Jimmy degrasso sounded a tad sloppy! Surprisingly, he also looked very nervous! I thought his Pearl kit sounded lousy! Hes a real good drummer but this wasnt his best!
