The Puget Sound Scale Racing Association went to Pacific Slot Car Raceways in Edgewood for a night. We raced 1/24 BRM hard plastic cars, and then a round of some of their lexan bodied 1/24 cars. It was great fun.
Although SSD cars and other 1/32 scale analog cars can run on the big tracks, they're not very well suited to it.
As for the BRMs, I don't know the details, as it was IROC and none belonged to me. I believe, however, that they were running pretty much all stock parts. I don't know of foam tires are stock, but they did have foam tires, which was good for this track, as it has a glue layer on it for the lexan cars.
