At ClarinetFest 2010, Backun Musical Services sat down with Ricardo Morales, Principal Clarinet in The Philadelphia Orchestra and Co-Developer of the Morales/Backun line of clarinet products, to discuss Ricardo's views on playing clarinet.
This video focuses on the differences between playing on-stage and in the pit, and the various techniques Ricardo uses to taper his playing to the unique demands each performance.

Ricardo, you are vivacious. It's a pleasure hearing you play and also hearing your ideas. Thank you!

I had the pleasure of shooting this video and Ricardo sounds great in a small room without 20 violins backing him up. The audio was two internal mics on a zoom h4, thats a great unit for recording Coca bolo Moba. I can't wait for mine!!!
