DC5 THE BEST OF THE BRIT INVASION !!!!!

This is a live recording of Bits and Pieces and Do You Love Me? As you can tell, they are kicking butt.
The drum rolls sound just like they do on recordings. The background singing is dead on key too.

If The DC5 sounded that great "live", (as with your recording of "I LIke It Like That") why on earth did they always hide behind a recording and lip sync on tv? I hope Dave Clark has a REAL live recording of a DC5 concert stashed somewhere that he may yet release on iTunes!! I am a life-long keyboardist & songwriter thanks to The Lord blessing me as a kid though Mike Smith and the DC5! Theyu meant the world to me. Thanks for this great post! DC5 Forever!

My favorite group of the British invasion. Mike Smith had a great rock and roll voice. A great era in rock. I'm glad to have grown up during those exciting times!

I've always considered Mike Smith to have been the definitive rock voice of the British Invasion. From ballads like 'Because', to all out rockers like 'Anyway You Want It', (my two favorites of the period) in my opinion, Mike surpassed them all. Thanks Mike!
This was 1 hell of a Band live.Hit after Hit after Hit.They should put a Vox Organ by his grave. Can we just go back to 1964 and freeze time.RIP MIKE,The music will live forever and so will your contributions to the DC-5.

Mike had a fantastic voice, I am very sad that Mike and Denny are no longer with us. DC5 is my favorite group since I was 8 years old, and I am now 52! I love you all guys!
