Nice video Nick. I would love to get up there!

We're in the South, but we're thinking of making a trip north to visit this place. It makes me cry how awesome this place is.
Your camera work was fine, by the way. At least you don't get black lines when trying to record screens. Very impressed.

Thats a good price, id be there all day.

All of the machines run on tokens. Most of the games on the third floor are a token each with newer games ranging from 2-5 tokens.
They have a deal with a coupon, if you bring it in, you pay 20 dollars and get 50 tokens for free, which means they cost 11 cents each. For that price, they can't be beat.

I know this video's kinda old but...
Do you know what games Funspot has on their Playchoice-10?
sonicfan966 4 months ago
@sonicfan966 They never change the games in the Playchoice. Off the top of my head they have Volleyball, The Goonies, Mario 1, 3 and Gradius.

I'm actually thinking about going here some time soon. Would this place happen to have any games from the Marvel VS series?
sonicfan966 2 years ago
No, they stopped with fighters at UMK3.
Pretty much, everything degraded in the 90's they started getting a lot of bad kids coming in and harassing the customers. One day a group of teenagers were having an argument and one of them put his fist through the screen of an MK game.
After that, FunSpot stopped putting in fighting games and the ones they do have aren't kept up in good shape. If your in the mood for classics, its the place to be, but for fighters, CTF or 8 on the break is for you

Ok, There's probably other kinds of games that might interest me, I read on the Funstop site there is a Dragon's Lair cabinet, I have yet to try out a laserdisc game before, Is it in good shape?
sonicfan966 2 years ago
Yes. This year Gary and the rest of the FunSpot staff fixed up all of their laser disk games with the Daphne emulator. All of the games run perfectly now, some better when they were released in the 80's.
Check our other video with Sgt. JAMMA, he showed off all of the laser disk games.
