Get Up ..

"Let go," a voice whispers inside. "Let go of your strength, your life, your pride."


This video has two stories that are meant to mold together. One is internal, a loss of innocence and child-drawn fear. The Great Prince doesn't want to let the piece of him go that represents what he lost so early; innocence. Simba refuses to let go of Mufasa -- his past -- and allows the pain to nearly erase his existence.

The second story is external, but mirrors the first. Belle -- so innocent -- is drawn to Beast, who is filled with a cold guilt. Anya is drawn to Dimitri; one so desperate to delve into her past, and the other willing to do anything to get rid of it.

Simba and Beast -- the Great Prince and Dimitri -- are one in the same.

Spirit and Hercules -- Rain and Meg -- are the battles themselves.

Yeah; worked on this instead of my homework.

I was thinking about some things, and I started thinking about how blind we can be, and how backwards we can be, until something (or someone) comes around to show us. It's only then that you realize holding onto your bad childhood won't bring you a new one, or the fact that being ashamed of your past will never let you step away from its shadows. We all need an influence and an inspiration.

I loved the fact that u looked beyond the usual amv editing and presented ur point and gave the meaning to the clips :3 I completely agree on the message and the way u showed it was breath-taking, the clips fitted the words so perfectly, the instrumental added the rhythm and created the atmosphere, the fadings worked really well and overall the idea was fantastic
