My father was a Major/Lt. Col. on MacArthur's staff during the Pacific campaign for five major battles, including this inavsion of Manila.

My grandfather was in this invasion as a foot soldier, and he witnessed MacArthur coming ashore. Thank you for posting this clip, and GOD BLESS THE GREATEST GENERATION EVER!
