Caledonia Road Closed- Broken Power Pole , Moncton

Codiac RCMP had to block off Caledonia Road which is one of the main entrances into the Caledonia Industrial Park due to a power pole broken and wires all over the road just before 9am this morning. I spoke to a officer and he told me a tractor trailer rubbed against a guide wire which broke the power pole like a toothpick. NB Power crew were on scene to take care of the problem. Industrial Park traffic had to be detoured onto the Trans Canada and get off at Harrisville Blvd entrance to the Park. Road is still closed until the Power crews get a new pole installed. CN were concerned also since the wires and pole broken so close to the tracks. Enbridge gas and City officials also on scene and fixing the problem was going to take longer then expected keeping the road closed.
