  • Daran thanks, your videos helped me a lot, I am operating on 28 September, my tumor is smaller than yours, but I imagined something else, I saw you talking about after the intervention, I thought it was gonna be asleep too long ... but I am afraid that the tube caused you much pain. I want to know how are you now, if you recover at all. My name is Patricia, I'm from Argentina and I live in Buenos Aires

  • @sugarturtle22 How's the recovery going? I still have some small things left over that really only I notice...annoying mainly. Hope your progression is going well!

  • Brilliant recovery!!!!

I also had such operation a year ago but my recovery is not so fast as yours. I even a bit envy you in a good way!

    Wish you progress recovery!

  • @millienm1 You and me both on the hearing restoration! You never know, with all the advancements. There is one doctor (can't remember his name) who's work's goal is just that. Need to search for him again. Hope you're doing better!

  • @guidodday you are right it is tough at times I still suffer left sided nerve damage with synkinesis. I have balance issues that I am still working on. It is quite an adjustment losing hearing, I am hopeful someday doctors will find a way to restore hearing loss.

  • @millienm1 - It's tough at times, but it's what I love...so that keeps me going. How are things with you? Any progress in the recovery?

  • I thank you soo much for sharing this experince with us. I will be going in on the 4 of october and ur story will be my source of strength. Thank you once again you are my hero.

  • Hi! I had surgery on this 4 1/2 months ago.......6 doctors said acoustic neuroma, but it had a hamartoma!!! wow, could have killed me sooner, its out now but I have same symptoms with 1/2 side of my left side partially paralized. I am amazed you can play music with hearing loss.

  • I don"t have any balance issues to speak of, but then again I had lost my hearing 5-6 years before the surgery, and was having some balance problems then.

  • I have to thank you all! I had my surgery nov. 14th 2008, which was 19 hours, almost a year ago, I have severe balance isssues, and I wonder if Daran does too?
