Why do the auto manufacturers have to make electric and hybrid cars so ugly. There are a few acceptions like the Honda CR-Z, Tesla, and (maybe) Fisker Karma but for the most part, those cars are IMO, ugly.

@gtspaceii: Hello! Thanks for the comment! How many cars (ICE included) that are being sold are really beautiful? If it is 10% of all cars, than it's already a lot. Since electric cars are a new technology that is very expensive, car manufacturers probably can't afford an expensive design, because it would make the cars even more expensive! I personally like the design of: Aston Martin, Jaguar, Alfa Romeo, Mini. I am really excited to see the new Tesla Model S which is kind of Aston Martin style
