    I did some research and learned it's called the Thang Long Water Puppet Theater. The show in Hanoi seemed much the same as a performance I saw in Berkeley years earlier. This group does international tours. You could try e-mailing them your question at: thanglongwpt@fpt.vn

    Back in 1999, when this trip took place, I was happy at video being allowed with payment of a small extra fee. Water puppets were a camcorder challenge.
