I had the luck to see Terry Reid in Oxford and on the Isle of Wight way back when, awesome isn't in it. How the hell did this man escape stardom!! River possibl;y the best album ever recorded.

I saw Terry bReid twice once at Oxford Town Hall and then on the Isle of Wight. I have never understiood why this man wasn't the biggest star of all. He was awesome. River possibly the best album ever recodred.

Yes, amazing album...I just bought two copies on vinyl, one new 180Gram, and and old mint copy, then taped it onto metal cassette for the car...I'm going backwards! F*&^kin Ipod broke anyway, crap....
I read an interview that said Terry was touring so turned it down ZEP to honour his established work commitments....and then recommended John Bonham and Plant for the zep job.....
RIVER is such a classic.....
