Bob Walkenhorst performs Burgers live from the Record Bar on July 26, 2006. The song is a great little slice of Americana (I hope the pictures capture a portion of this).

Or if you live within a 1000 miles of the Record Bar in Kansas City, MO, check him out live on Wednesday evenings with the legendary Jeff Porter (within 15 miles of KC) and the inspirational Norm Dahlor.

I'm 1005 miles from the Record Bar, according to Mapquest (central Pennsylvania), so I won't be attending anytime soon. But I thoroughly enjoy the shows as they are recorded and placed on the internet with Walkenhorst's permission.

Thanks to everyone at the Record Bar who takes pictures, records, attends, discusses, enjoys and preserves the work and the legacy of one the finest writers and performers I've ever heard.

PS: Conan O'Brien, David Letterman, Jay Leno, Craig Ferguson, Lorne Michael, Jimmy Kimmel and Oprah, you need to have Walkenhorst and his three man band on your show!!!

PS2: McDonalds, Burger King and Wendy's advertising representatives, don't lose your chance to contact Walkenhorst to inquire about using this tune in a catchy retro-advertising campaign!!!

Hah hah! I thought Rhonda was going to get us kicked out of the joint and next thing I know she's on YouTube hollering in the background. Thanks for posting this. Bob, Jeff and Norm really rock! Well worth checking out and the food at the Record Bar is great too. Looking forward to the next trip to KC.
