In the last half of the first decade of the second millennium (okay, the mid 2000s!) this huge Park and Ride complex was completed near the famous I-70 road cut/geologic point of interest just a few kilometres west of Denver, Colorado.
Not only do I live near there but just about everyone I know who skis, hikes, or climbs meets there to carpool on their way west into the mountains. A really great idea considering how congested Interstate 70 has become - not to mention the waste of fuel and pollutants that are generated when we all use separate vehicles for a day of skiing or hiking!
