"It Doesn't Matter Anymore" was written by Paul Anka and recorded by Buddy in late 1958 with Dick Jacobs and his Orchestra. The song became a hit and Buddy's last Top 40 recording shortly after his tragic death in February of 1959.

I was at grammar school when Buddy died. Such an amazing influence on music. And of course, so melodic and happy. Wish he were here now..

I was a fifteen-year old at the time of Buddy's death, and it really did seem as though the music had died. There was a great sense of sadness, and he was truly mourned by his fans. I'm encouraged to see the great effect his music has had on all popular music since then, and the incredible following that he has today. Thanks for this great upload!
