  • There are to many serious wrongs cyclist make every day. They should be required to have a license, insurance, special courses and pay tag fees and so on. Stop treating the roads as your private roller coaster ride/gym. It's for buisness or

  • @cullencole1 I'm sorry but you're incorrect and un-informed. Check your current state statutes regarding bicycles. Bicycles, by state law, have all the rights and responsibilities on the roads as motorists - it is not just for driving cars or "business". Roads are acceptable for alternative modes of transportation.

  • @cullencole1 A cyclist can be ticketed and should carry their drivers license (only about 4% of the public don't have one but demographically almost all cyclist do). Homeowners insurance and/or vehicle insurance covers every situation a cyclists could be involved in on the road. License plates are there for a police officer to identify the vehicle; you aren't seriously suggesting a bicycle is faster than a cop car are you?

  • I agree, except, I don't think anyone can make this argument if they're prone to jumping lights/stop signs (as many cyclists do)

  • @animation508 Without over generalizing cyclists and saying that the majority don't follow traffic laws, I agree with you in respect to the fact that anyone using the roadways should follow all traffic laws all the time. The problem is people don't remember those following the law, they remember those not following the law. Unfortunately, there are some setting a bad example for the whole.

  • @piperand Cyclists should DEFINITELY be using lights at night! Every once in a while I will see someone riding at night without lights and no helmet. Normally these aren't people who ride a lot, but maybe have lossed their license and have never ridden before. Cyclists should also use good sense and not ride on roads with high speeds and high traffic.

  • This is too close to reality - not the graphics but the idiotic logic used by drivers. Such drivers focus on cyclists because they are 'different'. They fail to recognise that the car they are driving for all essential purposes identical to all the other vehicles on the road, and the traffic jam he is often sitting in is made by people like him and not cyclists. Essentially the loathing he feels for cyclists who are innocent and his loathing should start with people exactly like himself.

  • Sorry for anyone who had to read what @W857TYWH408576NW0348 had to say on this comment thread. This is the type of person this video is directed toward. I will never understand why a person would say, "Cyclists are f*-ing annoying...I fantasize about killing them all the time." @skoockum This is the type of conversation that I used to make the video. I'll never understand how a person can be so inhumane and actually want to kill another person because of a slight inconvenience.

  • @animation508 While I understand that there is no right for cyclists to just lights/stop signs, I do this quite often. I do it at slow speed and ensure the safety of my maneuvre. The reason is that in city, I could lose half of my training waiting for lights. My point here is that safety is of highest importance, not just mine, but of all others as well. For that, I have to agree with video, but do not think that with enough consideration, there is any problem with lights.

  • @piperand I see car drivers do dumb things everyday, and not just one or two, but many many motorists. Talking on cells, texting, running amber lights to beat reds, failing to give way, over taking dangerously....and as you can probably tell from my picture Im a car guy...and I ride a bike. But you know Ive never or ever heard said "those f**king motorists" yet theres not a day go's by that I don't see or hear said "f**king cyclists". Its just to easy to treat a person on a bike as 2nd class.

  • @Jeminitim I think people sort of see one person doing it and then assume everyone does it. I don't hate cyclists btw ;)

  • @bushatbu True. Some people do make you think though.

  • car drivers don't like bikers but where are the bike ways outside towns that are suitable for road bikes/ racing bikes? I'm on both sides. I love riding my bike as much as driving my car which makes me following the rules at all times because I see a lot of bad bikers just doing whatever they want. slowing down, however, doesn't bother me at all. It actually makes me happy to see people choosing the eco-friendly way to commute.

  • @piperand they are not 'cyclists' Piperand, they are just idiots....just like motorist who drive drunk or drive to fast, or use a phone/texting while driving.

All ways amazes me how motorists are so quick to find fault in others, when 30 seconds of looking at themselves will often expose more.

Car drivers of the world who hate cyclists....have a stone you get to throw it first...
