  • senator edwars is the hottest candidate ever.

    he is so handsome

  • this clueless man would, if not corrected, contribute to a disaster... help africa out of poverty by soaring food prices... yeehah

  • just like most political leaders,make the right noises but do sod all. its called the mushroom effect, keep them in the dark and feed them shit.

  • Please spell "Berkeley" correctly?

  • Technology is available, google the following;

    maes anturio

    The reality is now, not tomorrow!!!!!!

  • He is as a BIG Fat Liar worried about Enviorment and Poverty . LOOK at the Size of his house He is a LIAR KUCINICH 2008**

  • i think the key here is IF edwards takes a "trade up" position, which i seriously doubt. how can one support trading up and at the same time be excited about getting "cheap land and cheap labor" from africa? it doesn't add up.

    i still find his position covertly racist, whether he intends it to be or realizes that it is. racism isn't overt any more. it comes in seemingly benign and well-intentioned statements about trying to help others, yet in helping we create a system oppression.

  • As a standalone statement, it can be taken a variety of ways. If you understand most of Edwards' positions about Africa and how he'd handle trade agreements, then it doesn't appear as ominus. Ralph Nader talks about "trade up" versus "trade down" agreements. If Edwards takes a raising others up to our trade standards position, then Africa could benefit. I don't think he's talking about pillaging Africa.

  • ummm..did everyone miss the comment about using african land and labor to produce goods for europe and other industrialized nations???

  • Edwards has articulated more concrete plans on a variety of issues than anyone else running for the nomination.
