Classic piece of British psych from 1968. This was issued in February of that year and was the single immediately before Wang Dang Doodle, and two before the frantic Sabre Dance. Dave Edmunds and company in fine freaked-out form. Close your eyes and drift away...

  • classic dave edmunds. This is 1968 and check out the production. How cool would it have been to grow up with technology in music production like Dave did at Kingsley's studio in Wales. I've been thre and it's great. Kingsley was actually cutting the grass on his tractor - fact!!!!!

  • @jutescrim no it wasnt on forms and feelings this was their first single released just before the album blues helping , forms and feelings was a poor album it was their second album and last before they split and dave edmunds formed rockpile the drummer formed a band called sassafras

  • I have never heard this one- who is the singer, is this from form and feelings?

Interesting, on the same lable as that other great group whose name escpaes me.....

  • Yeah, me too.

  • I think the comp. you're talking about is "The Singles A's & B's" on U.K. Harvest, had a copy of it as well, but long gone now for me too! However, just got it on the recent U.K. CD reissue of ''FORMS &FEELINGS''

  • Dunno but I had it on some vinyl compilation back in the 80´s here in Finland. Still sold it long ago, tho I loved it!

  • Thank you for posting this! A nice out of context nonLP cut and is difficult to find.Idon't think this was ever issued on Parrot in the U.S. was it?
