BadBromance: A Bad JoBros Story. [Chapter 33] Part 1

The next day, Emma woke up and walked towards the window. She widely opened it, letting the fresh air enter into the room. The fresh air, together with the first sun rays of the morning entering the room, made her feel new. She could feel the air going down her lungs with a deep breath. She looked around. Far away she could see the beach, sneaking behind some houses, and much further the horizon. Everything seemed new. She felt new. After leaving school, and telling Jake yes, she seemed new. However, there was something which still reminded on her mind. Nick. After answering Jake, she still felt something behind her back, yelling at her not to say him yes, but she ignored it, thinking she was doing right. Little did she know, things werent.. She changed clothes, got breakfast and headed to the front door, ready to leave for school. She opened the door, and got out. She closed it with the key, and when she turned around, she nearly collides with his face, giving her a fright. Jake was waiting for her.

Emma: what are you doing here?!
Jake: (smiles) waiting for you.
Emma: (blushes) thanks.. how did you know I live here?
Jake: I walked you here when Joes party.
Emma: oh! Yeah, right.. Lets go to school. (starts walking away)
Jake: (holds her by the hand and starts walking with her) you know, Im glad you told me yes.
Emma: (under her breath) yes.. I guess

They kept walking by the hand. The first house coming in their way, was Ashleys. They waited for her, but she was sleeping yet, so they kept walking. Then, Nicks house. Emma tried her best not to turn around and look at it, but she couldnt avoid it, since Nick, with his brothers, was already walking towards her. He was staring at her confused. He still didnt know yet about Jake and Emma. She tried to walk away but Jake stopped, wrapping his arm around her face, and faced him, acting cool.

Jake: hey Nick. whats up?
Nick: (sees his arm, and looks up at him) nothing.
Jake: hows Sarah?

Nick suddenly felt an arrow stabbing at his back. How did he dare to ask him that question after what happened? His body was solid. Suddenly, his face expression totally changed with anger and started stepping towards him and screaming. Joe or Kevin didnt stop him. They were just staring, as so was Emma.

Nick: ARENT YOU DONE?! WHAT THE HELL YOU WANT NOW?!
Jake: (steps away) hey, hey, calm down.. I was just-
Nick: DONT YOU THINK YOU ALREADY PISSED ME OFF ENOUGH?!
Jake: alrigh.. sorry.. I thought you both were.. you know.. After all I just wanted to tell ya that Emma and I am together..

After hearing that, Nicks body froze. He felt like being hit with a stone. Did he hear well? He tried to push out of his mind, he might have hard bad, but after seeing how Jake kissed her on the lips, he felt his body burning of anger and jealousy. He wanted to punch him on the nose so badly. Her blood was starting to flow more quickly around her body. He hardly closed his fists, trying to hold back his desire. After he could lose his temper and punch him, he quickly turned around and started walking away, leaving everyone behind him. Emma tried to stop him, but Jake was holding her. Everyone exchanged confused look but Emma. She perfectly knew why he walked away, and kind of had an idea where he was going..
Eventually, Jake and Emma made their ways to school. Joe waited for Ashley in front of her door, and Kevin started walking towards school, when he noticed Lily was getting out of her house. Lily saw him, and ran towards him, shouting for his name but he kept walking away. Finally Lily reached him, and started walking fast next to him, confused why he was ignoring her.

Lily: hey! Kevin! How was the night?
Kevin: (ignores her)
Lily: (looks closer at him) Kevin..? are you ok..?
Kevin: (stops) go away.
Lily: w- what..? oh, ok. You mean, Im too close to you, right?
Kevin: no. I mean, go away. Of me. Of my life. GET LOST.

Those words hurt her so badly. She felt her heart broken into pieces. She looked at his eyes, which she could feel were full of anger. She tried to get closer to him, trying to get off her mind what he just said. She could start feeling tears forming in her eyes.

Lily: (scared) K-Kevin.. did you drink more..?
Kevin: NO! GO AWAY!
Lily: B-But.. please.. tell me you are kidding.. this is just-
Kevin: NO!

He then pushed her out of his way, leaving her over the floor. Lily watched how he stormed away quickly, stepping his feet hard against the ground, and closing hardly his fists with anger after leaving her on the floor. She sat up on the floor, with tears rolling down her cheeks, looking how Kevins figure merged far away between more houses and trees. She could feel her heart filled with pain. She held her hands together up in her chest, trying to swallow in her tears. She couldnt get off her mind his look filled with anger. She couldnt get off her mind, his arm pushing her onto the floor. She couldnt believe Kevin hurt her.
