Welcome!
Amazing Grace Equine Sanctuary, Inc is a horse rescue and adoption facility located in Elkhart Lake Wisconsin. We have been rescuing and adopting horses within Wisconsin and throughout the Midwest since 2008. Since our inception, we have been able to rescue several horses from homes due to financial difficulties, fading child interest, or horses that may have been victims of abuse and / or neglect. We provide a loving home for all of the animals we accept, whether we are able to adopt them to a pre approved adoptive family or find their end place with us in our horse sanctuary. Our end goal for each horse that is available to adopt, is to find them a permanent, proficient, and loving home. There are more and more horse breeding farms and a seemingly endless supply of 'horses for sale' in many local or online classified ads. Truth be known? Some of those horses fall through the cracks and end up being forgotten about, not getting fed -- or being fed only occasionally, left to fend for themselves. We want to be a rescue option for those horse owners unwilling or unable to continue caring for their horses. (We offer a no judgment Policy) That is where YOU come in! We as a horse rescue facility require many things, including monetary donations, donations of grain/feed, grooming/care and bedding items. We are a 501 (c)(3) non profit public charity (Tax Exempt #26-3776085) and all donations are tax deductible. WELCOME! Please look around, and if you want to join in our efforts to rescue and adopt horses in need? Please do!

Amazing Grace
Grace is defined as; "an unearned favor from God", a "current of benevolence" attainable to everyone. It is an unseen hand that comes from the divine, raising us up when we need it most. A knowing that we are being taken care of -- small miracles unfolding in ordinary events and interactions. It is through my personal experiences with grace in my life that I sought to create this sanctuary. God's grace has walked with me and has brought me here to manifest my dream of caring for and nurturing those horses in need. My hope is that you will join me, in making a difference in a horse's life, in doing Gods work here on earth. With your help we can be instrumental in easing the suffering in a horses life. It is through our own life experiences with grief and sadness that we learn compassion for others.
