Caught a ride with some Paraguayanos going to Santa Catarina from the borders - Foz de Iguazu. The only one who gave me carona in this district.
Unfortunaly I havent learn any guarani :( I was triing to get in that moment to (at the begining to Curitiba) what I gave up after 6 hours of not finding anybody to take me with). And after directly to Santos, what I was happy to find some funny Paraguayos and after that in the morning in Cascavel one Argentino who took me futher on. Guarani is originaly the language spoken in whole Brasil and Paraguay. In Brasil was called Tupi-Guarani. I made a few videos of that, but thsi one is the longest one. As u can see Guarani is much different than spanish and most of the people are not able to speak correct guarani trough the dictatorship which was in Paraguay in the past. But it's changing and most of these people speak half guarani, half spanish ;)

  • it's "Paraguayans". and Guaraní is NOT spoken in all of Brazil... maybe some states near Paraguay, sooome people... but not ALL Brazilians speak it! they don't know any Guaraní! it's merely Paraguayan.
