    Couldn`t happen in NZ...OSH would find a way to say it was dangerous, would need a twenty foot fence around it with locked gates, and heaven forbid....it has water in it.....children could even drown in it.

    I think that a rapid deployment would be a great option. I would have a secondary pool (or water fountain) with rapid deployment with a 12' depth and 4' diameter located just outside my front door and set up the doorbell as the control. Of course you would have a lockout option for scheduled visitors. I might even revise that cover design for the front pool to say "solicitors welcome".
