In the backcountry there are no crowds, ski lodges, or lifts! So, if you want to go uphill, with your snowboard, you need to either carry it up by hand, "scoot" up (one foot released to push off on), or "walk-the-board" up like in this short video!

  • thanx. i looked up some videos here with that name and it worked. And it defenetly is useful. I hate it when i have to take of my snowboard to get highter on a hill or move a couple meters on flat land.

  • its called a duck walk i believe. very useful at times

  • its realy easy acualy. start by piviting on the nose and tail, when you can do that jump and pivit and thats pretty much it. its hard to explain when typing if i get time ill make a video
